The 2024 Formula 1 season continues with the Italian Grand Prix at Monza from 30 August-1 September.

Last weekend at Zandvoort, Lando Norris beat Max Verstappen to win the Dutch Grand Prix by 22.8 seconds, with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc in third place.

Verstappen leads Briton Norris by 70 points in the drivers' championship with nine races to go, while Red Bull's advantage in the constructors' title race is down 30 points over McLaren.

The air temperature at Monza for qualifying on Saturday was 33.1C, with the track at 48.5C.

BBC weather forecaster Ian Fergusson says: "Current FIA forecast assessment for Sunday's race is for similar temperatures and a very low risk of a shower."
