How can McLaren win constructors' title in Baku?published at 09:09 BST 19 September

This is how the constructors' championship looks after 16 rounds of racing, with McLaren way ahead of the field. So how can they become back-to-back title winners this weekend?
To be crowned champions for a 10th time - and with seven races still to go - McLaren need to outscore second-placed Ferrari by nine points in Baku, while not being outscored by Mercedes by 12 points or more, and Red Bull by 33 points or more.
Max Verstappen had a little chuckle to himself when told championship leader Oscar Piastri had handed back positon to McLaren team-mate - and main title rival - Lando Norris at Monza. The swap cut Piastri's lead by three points and now the Australian leads Briton Norris by 31 points with eight races remaining.
Williams' Alex Albon, meanwhile, gained a place after the Italian Grand Prix, jumping above Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli and into seventh place after picking up six points.

Hello, folks. The grid has packed up from Monza and headed to Baku for the latest round of Formula 1 action in 2025. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is now in its second year of being an autumnal race, rather than a spring event.
First practice gets under way at 09:30 BST.
Second practice goes green at 13:00 BST.
Red Bull's Max Verstapen was back on top last time out with a win from pole position but McLaren, despite a bit of team orders kufuffle in Italy, are in a position to secure the constructors' championship this weekend if they can finish clear of their rivals.
