Fermanagh have been promoted from Football League Division Three after beating Wexford 1-12 to 0-7 on Sunday.

The Ernemen are unbeaten with 11 points from their six games, with their final game away to Clare to come next week.

Pete McGrath's side led 1-5 to 0-3 at half-time with the help of a Sean Quigley penalty just before the break.

Quigley also contributed four frees, with Barry Mulrone (2), Tomas Corrigan (2), Ryan Jones (2), Ciaran Flaherty and Eoin Donnelly also scoring points.

Ciaran Lyng scored two early points for Wexford, while Tiernan Rossiter (2), Ben Brosnan, Kevin O'Grady and Eoghan Nolan also got their names on the scoresheet.

The scores were level early on but Fermanagh pulled clear with the aid of a strong breeze in the first half and Quigley's goal was just reward for their superiority.

The visitors pulled further away in the second half and enjoyed an eight-point winning margin by the end of the game.
