Mourne boss Jim McCorry goes with an unchanged line-up for Sunday's Division Two final against Roscommon.
McCorry includes the influential Kevin McKernan despite the Burren forward being on a disciplinary tightrope.
A black card against the Rossies at Croke Park would be enough to see McKernan banned for the Ulster SFC opener with Derry.
Roscommon enjoyed a 1-15 to 1-11 win over the Ulster side in their league meeting at Pairc Esler in February.
John Evans's side will be without Seanie McDermott following his red card in the 2-13 to 0-12 win over Westmeath which secured promotion.
Evans has yet to name his side but key attackers Senan Kilbride and Donie Shine look certain to start at Croke Park.
McCorry may have resisted making personnel changes but his team shows a number of positional switches.
Conor Laverty takes over at right corner-forward from Mark Poland, who moves to left half-forward.
Paul Devlin's switch to midfield sees Caolan Mooney going to centre full-forward.
Gerard Collins, Damian Turley and Darren O'Hagan are also moved in a defensive reshuffle.
Despite being relegated from Division 1 last year, Down were not among the promotion favourites at the start of the campaign but a stirring comeback initial comeback win over Kildare gave them early momentum.
A disappointing home defeat by Meath in their penultimate game left the Mourne men needing to avoid a further slip up in their final game in Portlaoise but Down held their nerve to secure promotion.
Down: S Kane; G Collins, L Howard, D Turley; D O'Hagan, B McArdle, C McGovern; P Turley, P Devlin; C Maginn, K McKernan, M Poland; C Laverty, C Mooney, D O'Hare.
