Gareth Maybin misses cut after 71 in Perth International

Gareth Maybin missed the cut at the Perth International in Australia despite a one-under-par 71 on Friday.

The Ballyclare player carded five birdies but double-bogeys on the sixth and 18th proved costly as he finished two shots shy of the cut on four over.

Maybin has struggled recently and he also failed to make the cut at the Portugal Masters and Dunhill Links Championship over the past few weeeks.

Emiliano Grillo of Argentina leads by four shots on 11 under.
