England's Justin Rose and Scot Marc Warren share a one-shot lead on 10 under par going into Sunday's Scottish Open final round at Royal Aberdeen.

Rose was five under for the day and Warren, four under par, said: "It's an exciting position to be in."

Swede Kristoffer Broberg is nine under while England's Tyrrell Hatton is two shots further behind.

Craig Lee had a five-under-par third round, taking him to six under while Phil Mickelson is two under.

Day one leader Rory McIlroy is a shot ahead of the American after his 68.

"I've shot 64 and a 68 on this golf course, which are two really good scores," said McIlroy. "Yesterday was just one of those days where nothing really went right. I couldn't get any momentum.

"It would be nice to shoot another good one tomorrow, but I feel good with my game and I saw enough positives in there to give me confidence going into the Open next week."

Warren had been joint overnight leader with Broberg and Argentina's Ricardo Gonzalez and the Scot was one shot ahead of Rose approaching the 18th hole.

However, after Rose made par, Warren bogeyed for a second time on his back nine to leave the pair level.

Warren told BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound: "I'm really chuffed with today's work. I hit a lot of good shots. Overall, I'm absolutely delighted with the situation I'm in."

Rose said he had been feeling under the weather due to "cumulative hayfever".

"I have been feeling fine for the most part, just a bit of a sinus headache, but a lot of people have been struggling with the hayfever round here," he added.

"I'm beginning to read these greens really well, which I think helps. I just felt more comfortable with my iron play," he said.

"I'd love to win tomorrow."

Gonzalez is tied for fifth with Lee, while Dane Thomas Bjorn joins the defending champion on two under, along with Scots Stephen Gallacher, Scott Jamieson and Russell Knox.

"I've hit the ball quite nicely today and I've not made any mistakes so it's been great," said Lee, who did not drop a shot on day three.

"I kept it on the fairways, I hit a lot of irons off the tees, especially on the back nine, some of the tees have been moved forward. If you can get it on the short stuff, it makes going into the greens a little bit easier."
