Frenchman Alexander Levy leads the European Open after shooting a nine-under 62 in a fog-delayed first round.

Levy birdied the last three holes to go one shot clear of Austrian Bernd Wiesberger at Bad Griesbach in Germany.

Australian Jason Scrivener was a further shot behind, with England's Ross Fisher three off the lead in fourth - with Italian Renato Paratore.

European Ryder Cup team-mates Martin Kaymer and Thomas Pieters were four under and level par respectively.

England's Steve Webster, Ben Evans, Matthew Southgate and Oliver Fisher, plus Scot Stephen Gallacher, were among 12 players on five under.
