Great Britain beat Malaysia 3-1 in World League

Britain's men came back from a goal down to beat Malaysia 3-1 and secure a quarter-final against Pakistan in the World League semi-final.

GB can qualify for the 2016 Olympics with a top-three finish in Antwerp.

Bobby Crutchley's side finished second in Pool B behind leaders Belgium and will face Pool A's third-placed team Pakistan on Wednesday.

Muhammad Shamsul had put Malaysia in front, but David Condon, Ashley Jackson and Sam Ward hit back for GB.

The Britons dominated the game, but found themselves trailing at half-time, despite having 78% possession across the first two quarters.

But Condon scrambled in a penalty corner after the break before Jackson and Ward completed the comeback.

Belgium finished above Britain at the top of Pool B with a late goal in a 2-1 win over Ireland.

The Irish will now face the world's top-ranked team Australia in their quarter-final, while India take on Malaysia and France meet Belgium.

"You'd say most people want to avoid Australia, but having said that we focused on ourselves and keeping our momentum rather than what might happen on Wednesday," said head coach Crutchley.

"We've finished the pool unbeaten, so on the whole I'm happy, but there is still plenty of work to do."
