Great Britain's men lose to Germany in Olympic qualifiers final

Great Britain's men conceded a late goal as they were beaten 1-0 by Germany in the Olympic qualifiers final.

Having won their semi-finals, both teams had qualified for Paris 2024 and were vying to win the tournament.

Martin Zwicker produced the winner with four minutes left when he guided in from close range after a penalty corner had looped up in front of goal.

GB had a number of late penalty corners but failed to capitalise as Germany held on to claim victory in Oman.

Earlier, New Zealand beat Pakistan 3-2 in the bronze medal play-off to secure their place at the Olympics with only the winner progressing to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
