The Belfast Giants proved too strong for Coventry Blaze in Friday's Elite League clash at the Odyssey Arena.

Sam Roberts shot through a crowd of players to give the home side an early lead although Brab Leeb did pull the Blaze level on 11.11.

Goals by Noah Clarke and Greg Stewart saw the league champions go two up.

Then Matt Towe scored an unassisted empty-netter to wrap up the 4-1 win for the Giants who next play Braeside Clan at home on 27 December.
