Brodie Reid struck Cardiff Devils' dramatic overtime winner in the Elite League at second-from-bottom Fife Flyers on Sunday.

Dillon Lawrence scored Flyers' opener with Cole Sanford replying before Reece Harsch put Flyers back ahead.

Devils' Joey Martin levelled and Justin Crandall put the visitors ahead for the first time.

Mikael Johansson's 60th-minute equaliser sent the game into overtime in which Reid sealed victory.

It was a second win in 24 hours after they bounced back from Friday's home defeat by Belfast Giants to beat Glasgow Clan on Saturday.

Cardiff followed Friday's 4-2 defeat by Giants in the Welsh capital with a 5-0 win at bottom club Glasgow.

Against Clan Ben Davies and Sanford put the visitors 2-0 up in the first period with Jake Coughler and doubling their advantage in the second.

Blake Thompson scored for the second successive game to complete Devils' win.

On Friday Belfast were 2-0 up after the opening period as Ben Lake and David Goodwin hit the target and Scott Conway added Giants' third.

Trevor Cox hit back for Devils and Thompson added a second, but Goodwin added his second to thwart Devils' hopes of a late comeback.

Third-placed Devils' league schedule continues on at leaders Guildford Flames on Wednesday, 26 October.
