Elite League: Belfast Giants 3-4 Cardiff Devils

Cardiff Devils claimed back-to-back Elite League victories against Belfast Giants at the SSE Arena.

Sunday's contest far was tighter than the previous night where Devils blew the opposition away in a 6-3 victory.

Oliver Cooper and Trevor Cox exchanged goals in a level opening period.

Giants took the lead through Daniel Tedesco and Ara Nazarian in the second, while Cole Sanford kept the visitors in touch to set up a dramatic final third.

Giants threw everything at Devils, but thanks to netminder Ben Bowns and goals from Sanford and Cole Ully, Devils left Belfast with four points.

Devils finish the weekend 14 points adrift of league leaders Sheffield Steelers with one game in hand.
