Cardiff Devils secured an emphatic 5-1 win over Sheffield Steelers to maintain their grip on top spot in the Elite League.
Josh MacDonald and Riley Brandt struck in quick succession to put the hosts in control early on in the Welsh capital.
Joey Martin extended Cardiff's advantage in the opening seconds of the second period - with Ben Davies and Kohen Olischefski then netting to put Cardiff 5-0 ahead.
Max Golod struck a late consolation for Steelers.
The win leaves Devils with a four-point lead over Belfast Giants but they have played two games more than the other five sides in the top six.
Cardiff return to action against Nottingham Panthers in the Challenge Cup on Sunday at the Vindico Arena (16:00 GMT).
