Devils reach Challenge Cup semis with sublime Panthers comeback

Cardiff Devils overcame a four-goal deficit to earn a dramatic 6-4 win over Nottingham Panthers and book their place in the Challenge Cup semi-finals.
Oliver Betteridge, Tim Doherty and Sam Herr all netted in the opening period to put the visitors in control at the Vindico Arena.
Mitchell Fossier extended Nottingham's lead, but Tyler Busch and Cole Sanford struck in quick succession to give Cardiff hope in the second period.
Kohen Olischefski bagged Cardiff's third before Cole Sanford levelled proceedings.
Olischefski then notched his second to put the home side 5-4 up in the final stages, with Busch scoring his second and Cardiff's sixth as they sealed their place in the semi-finals of the competition - with Panthers going into the elimination game.
Cardiff return to action against Coventry Blaze in the Elite League on 26 December (18:00 GMT).
Nottingham travel to Sheffield Steelers on the same day (16:00 GMT).
