Cardiff Devils' poor run continued as they suffered a fourth successive Elite League defeat with a 5-3 home loss against Coventry Blaze.
Cole Sanford and Zach O'Brien's goals had given Devils a 2-0 lead at the end of the opening period.
Jackson Cressy replied for Blaze and although Tyler Busch restored the home side's two-goal advantage Nick Seitz made it 3-2.
And goals from Seitz, David Clements and Chase Gresock in the final period saw Cardiff condemned to a fifth straight defeat in all competitions.
Devils are away to Guildford Flames in the league on Sunday, before looking to overcome a 5-3 deficit in the second leg of their Challenge Cup semi-final against Sheffield Steelers at home on Wednesday, 19 February.
