Cardiff Devils rounded off the weekend with a convincing 5-0 victory over Fife Flyers on what was a record-breaking night for their longest serving player.

Mark Richardson broke the British record for the most appearances in the Elite League, with his tally of 1,178 surpassing Sheffield Steelers legend Jonathan Phillips.

Kristoff Kontos and Joey Martin scored in the first and second periods and unlike Saturday - where Devils threw away a two goal lead against Manchester Storm - drove home their advantage with a Kohen Olischefski double before Richardson provided an assist for Tyson Helgesen's late score.

Devils return to action on Friday when they host Guildford Flames, followed by a trip to Fife for a return match against Flyers on Sunday.
