Cardiff Devils returned to winning ways in the Challenge Cup with a 2-0 home victory over Manchester Storm
Devils suffered their first defeat of the campaign at Coventry Blaze in the previous match having opened the season with three successive wins.
Cedric Lacroix's power-play goal in the opening period put the Devils ahead and a power-play goal from Kristoff Kontos doubled their lead in the third period.
Storm had a goal ruled out before Josh MacDonald put the puck into the empty net for Devils' third.
The teams meet again in the Challenge Cup on Saturday at Ice Planet Altrincham.
