Wales ice hockey team 'next step' after cup return
Deeside Dragons became the first winners of ice hockey's Welsh Cup for 25 years.
They beat Cardiff Fire 16-14 on aggregate following a thrilling 11-9 win in the second leg at the Vindico Arena.
It was the first time the senior trophy had been contested since 1989.
And Great Britain Women’s and Deeside Dragons head coach Mike Clancy believes the success of the event could lead to the creation of a Welsh national team.
