'If last year is anything to go by, the fans are in for a treat'

As Cardiff Devils prepare to host the 2025 Continental Cup final group, captain Mark Richardson recalls their must win game against GKS Katowice in last year's finals.

Despite victory against the Polish side Devils came up short in Cardiff 12 months ago, but after reaching the final stages of the competition for the third consecutive year Richardson believes his side are ready to mount a serious challenge to lift their first European trophy.

Cardiff play against Katowice again and Bruleurs de Loups of France from Thursday, 16 to Sunday, 19 January.
