Matthew Purssey and James Austin both won bronze medals on the final day of the Judo GB World Cup in Liverpool.
However, neither was able to match Ashley McKenzie's gold from Saturday.
Edinburgh-born Purssey beat two-time Olympic veteran Winston Gordon in the under-90kg class, while Austin came third in the -100kg category.
"It's great to get a medal in front of a home crowd and in such a good competition," said Austin, who is from the Hardy Spicer club.
Purssey added: "I knew I was capable of it and I put in a lot of effort to win the bronze so I'm very pleased with myself."
It is Britain's first big event since Romanian Daniel Lascau brought in as performance director.
