Budapest Grand Prix: Wales' Natalie Powell claims bronze

Britain's Natalie Powell won a bronze medal in the -78kg category at the Budapest Grand Prix on Sunday.

The Welsh judoka beat Croatia's Ivana Maranic while Olympic silver medallist Gemma Gibbons lost out to Guusje Steenhuis of the Netherlands in the same weight category.

Gibbons, 27, is returning after nine months out following shoulder surgery.

Judo is back in the Commonwealth Games after a 12-year gap, with competition in Glasgow starting on 23 July.
