    Seeded England, who won bronze in 2013, face Ireland and hosts Belgium in the group stages in Leuven from 11-15 February.

    Mark Cavendish was once again left to admire young rival Fernando Gaviria after the Colombian beat him into second place to win stage three of the Tour de San Luis.

    For the second time this week in Argentina, 20-year-old Gaviria burst clear of the Manxman in the final stages as the riders raced from Concaran to Juana Koslay.

    Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he will offer defensive midfielder Francis Coquelin, 23, a new deal. The Frenchman has been with the Gunners since 2008, but has been sent to three clubs on loan since. He has recently impressed upon his return to Arsenal.

    "I saw that he made huge improvements in training so I sent him on loan for match practice," says Wenger.

    "He took that challenge and he's done very well. We will offer him a new deal."

    This afternoon, BBC2 will bring you the women's final at the World Indoor Bowls Championships (13:00 GMT) between Kathryn Rednall and Laura Thomas from Potters Resort in Hopton-on-Sea.

    Rednall, 19, became the youngest-ever champion last year and is looking to become only the fifth woman to win it more than once.

    Andy Murray was not hugely impressed by the reaction to Rafael Nadal battling five-set victory over Tim Smyczek.

    The Spaniard required treatment from the doctor for stomach cramps in the third set and repeatedly doubled over in distress before beating the qualifier 6-2 3-6 6-7 (2-7) 6-3 7-5.
