    Supporters could have died in crowd trouble which marred an Africa Cup of Nations semi-final, the Ghana FA president has told the BBC.

    Play was halted for 30 minutes as home fans rioted at the match where Ghana beat hosts Equatorial Guinea 3-0.

    Police used tear gas as bottles and stones were thrown by home supporters.

    Norwich City will look at signing West Brom's Graham Dorrans on loan after failing to secure a permanent deal in the transfer window.

    A deadline day move for the 27-year-old Scotland midfielder that involved Canaries defender Martin Olsson heading to the Hawthorns fell through.

    The loan window opens on Monday.

    "He's not lined up at the moment but it's a potential thing we could look at when the window opens. It's something we will revisit," Norwich boss Alex Neil told BBC Radio Norfolk.

    But Sir Ronnie Flanagan believes spot-fixers will not affect the forthcoming World Cup, which starts on 14 February.

    "They're almost like paedophiles in how they attempt to groom players to whatever suits the nefarious intentions in terms of illegal betting," he said.

    A little more on the news that Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci has been cleared of a misconduct charge by the Football Association.

    The Italian was accused of allegedly using racist language towards Norwich striker Cameron Jerome in the the 1-1 draw between the sides last October.

    "We will of course await the written reasons of the Independent Regulatory Commission, but it remains essential that the FA continues to bring forward charges where we believe there is a credible case to answer," said director of football governance Darren Bailey.

    "We fully and promptly investigated this matter from the moment it was brought to our attention and this underlines our commitment to the reporting process, which has been strengthened by both The FA and Kick It Out over recent years."

    Van Gaal has had a busy afternoon as he also attended the annual Munich memorial service to mark the 57th anniversary of the air crash that claimed the lives of 23 passengers, including eight players.

    Norwich have expressed their disappointment after Leeds defender Giuseppe Bellusci was found not guilty of racially abusing their striker Cameron Jerome.

    The Italian was charged in December but an independent regulatory commission dropped the case at a personal hearing today after Bellusci denied the charge.

    A club statement read: "Norwich City is deeply disappointed by the 'not proven' verdict.

    "We fully supports Cameron, who genuinely believed he was on the receiving end of unacceptable language on the field of play, reported it in the correct manner to the match officials and has conducted himself with dignity throughout the months since the incident."
