Winning World Championship gold would be an achievement equal to Olympic glory, says Britain's Lizzy Yarnold.

She secured the women's skeleton gold at the Sochi Games last year and is seeking a maiden world title in Winterberg, Germany, this week.

Victory would complete a career grand slam - with Yarnold having won the 2015 European crown and last season's overall World Cup title.

"To have all four titles in 13 months would be amazing - that has never happened before," Yarnold, 26, tells BBC Sport.

England head coach Stuart Lancaster on what is at stake for his team in their final two Six Nations games: "There's plenty to play for - not just for now, the Championship - for me in terms of understanding which players can and can't deliver under pressure leading into the World Cup.

"Once we get to that World Cup camp, we'll have a lot more players available who've been injured...they'll come back into the equation and the World Cup will take its own course."

Reacting to last weekend's 19-9 defeat against Ireland: "It's hugely disappointing to lose any game of rugby but New Zealand lost the last two warm-up games leading into the World Cup and won the World Cup.

"France lost in the pool stages and got to the final... it's how you react to a defeat and making sure you don't panic or lose belief in what you're doing.

"We didn't play as well as we wanted against a top class side but ultimately we won't lose the sense of direction that we're going, and that we're on the right track absolutely."
