    Ipswich Town have extended the loan deals of Blackburn striker Luke Varney and Millwall midfielder Richard Chaplow until the end of the season.

    They have made a combined 10 appearances since joining Town and both will stay with the Championship promotion chasers until 2 May.

    There is also the option to remain for the play-offs should sixth-place Town make them.

    England Rugby 2015 has announced the route of a World Cup trophy tour, external, to begin on 10 June and travel throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland ahead of the opening ceremony at Twickenham on 18 September.

    The organisation also says there will be 15 'Fanzones' during the tournament - including one in each host city, one at the birthplace of the game in Rugby, Warwickshire, and one in Trafalgar Square in London - and expects over a million supporters to visit.

    Earlier this month, Wenger said Arsenal had opened early talks with Walcott, whose current contract expires in the summer of 2016, because he had been "difficult to convince" in the past.

    Arsenal's Theo Walcott denies media reports of a "bust-up" between himself and manager Arsene Wenger over a contract extension.

    The England striker said on Twitter:, external "I don't normally comment on false stories about myself but reports about contract demands and bust-ups with the boss are complete nonsense.

    "There have been no contract talks as yet and my current focus is not on contracts but on doing my best for Arsenal", he added.

    Admittedly not a stellar crop today.

    The Copa del Rey final between Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona on 30 May will be played at Barca's Nou Camp Stadium.

    Spain's domestic cup final usually takes place at a neutral venue, with a stadium often agreed upon by the clubs.

    Real Madrid refused to host the match and as neither side could agree a location, a vote was held at a Spanish Football Federation meeting.

    No side has played the final in their own stadium since 2002, when Deportivo La Coruna won at Real Madrid.

    The Tour of Catalonia, external continues in Spain today, with the riders heading out from Tona to a 1725m-high summit finish at La Molina - a route of 188km that includes three category-one climbs.

    Europcar's French rider Pierre Rolland leads the overall classification by three seconds from Colombian Rigoberto Uran of Etixx - Quick Step.

    But Chris Froome of Team Sky and Tinkoff-Saxo's Alberto Contador could shake up the leaderboard as they resume their rivalry in the mountains. Froome, Tour de France winner in 2013, is two minutes 46 seconds behind Rolland, while Contador trails by two minutes 27 seconds.

    As expected, Harlequins have confirmed the signing of former Wales prop Adam Jones.

    The 34-year-old, who has also appeared for the British & Irish Lions, will join the Premiership side from Cardiff Blues at the end of the season.

    "He is a world-class prop and we cannot wait to get him involved," said Quins director of rugby Conor O'Shea.
