PSV celebrate with titleImage source, Getty Images

Former Wigan and Portsmouth defender Arjan de Zeeuw believes his countryman Memphis Depay will succeed at Manchester United.

"It's a massive step, but I think he'll do well," De Zeeuw tells BBC World Service. "People regard him as a little bit arrogant, a little bit cocky, but I think he is a very good player, a very promising player, a very strong very, quick player and he's got some skill.

"Just because he's full of confidence, doesn't mean he's cocky... people expect him to be the best player on the pitch every week, so you have to have a bit of self-belief to achieve that."

"He's been the player of the season really in Holland. He stood out for PSV, he's been the main guy who got them the championship this year, without him they would have struggled."

Geoff Naylor: Pele and Maradona got lumps kicked out of them. In todays no-contact-game they would have been as good if not better than Messi.

Richard Leaman: Messi the best ever? Not even the best in the world at the moment. Taken out of Barcelona comfort zone he's not half as good.

Dewi Howells: If you want someone who does it all, it's John O'Shea. Could cover from RB - CF and I doubt Messi'd keep a clean sheet in goal.

O'Shea once took the goalkeeper's injury to replace the injured Edwin van der Sar at Manchester United.

"We're capable of signing them (NRL players)," Wane, 50, told BBC Radio Manchester. "It's just that I'm very happy with players like George Williams and Ryan Hampshire."

"Very few players of Yoann's talent become free agents," says Poulmaire. "In the context of financial fair play, it is an enormous opportunity. I have had interest from very big clubs."

Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with Gourcuff in the past.

Fin Crebolder: Cruyff. Made his own style and won with it as player and manager. Without him, Ajax and Barca wouldn't be what they are today.
