Meanwhile, one happy chappy already on the plane for Real Madrid's trip to Australia, is defender Sergio Ramos. No move to Old Trafford, then?

Fabian Delph signed a new contract with Aston Villa, was widely reported to be on the verge of a move to Manchester City, but then decided to "set the record straight". 

And just for further clarity, Delph's Villa team-mate Micah Richards (formerly of City, of course) is letting people know he had nothing to do with it.
