Jason Flannigan: Henrik Larsson at Celtic had a bad start. He gave the ball away, lost a goal, turned Chic Charnley into a hero for Hibs then lost the game... but look how his career at Celtic went. Total legend.

    Henrik Larsson

Philip Bagley: Patrice Evra for Man United against City. We lost 4-1 I think. Thankfully it was the only bad game I remember him having, solid as a rock from then on.

Richard Tooley: Could be worse he could have had a debut like that Aussie (whose name I can't spell or pronounce) who played one game for Norwich when they lost 7-1 to Colchester.

The player you are thinking of, Richard, is goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos. He is currently back in his homeland with Brisbane Roar

It seems that Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has now fallen off Manchester City's radar, but it could be that they will push hard for Wolfsburg's former Chelsea attacker Kevin De Bruyne and Valencia central defender Nicolas Otamendi.
