Lewis Hamilton considers Sebastian Vettel to be a serious threat to his championship bid, but has hailed Ferrari's resurgence as "great" for Formula One.
Hamilton remains the odds-on favourite to secure consecutive titles despite Vettel's victory in Singapore last Sunday.
With six races to go, the Ferrari driver is now 49 points adrift of Hamilton, who retired for the first time this season after a loss of power at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Tony Pulis was still sitting uneasy in his chair this morning, only hours after after losing at Norwich on Wednesday, as the pre-Everton press call was at 09:00 BST.
He wasn`t prickly, as such, with the media but he admitted the players were going to “get it” this morning, so the loss at Carrow Road is still very fresh in his mind.
Chris Brunt, Gareth McAuley and Saloman Rondon were all carrying knocks after the victory at Villa and so were rested for the trip to Norwich, bit will all be back for Monday's game against Everton at the Hawthorns.

Despite becoming the first team in the Premier League to win away at Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City in a season - West Ham manager Slaven Bilic isn't getting carried away....
Liverpool 1-1 Carlisle (Liverpool win 3-2 on pens)
Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer
No let up in the pressure on Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers. The victory on penalties against Carlisle may have secured a home tie with Bournemouth in the next round of the League Two – but a scrambled win against a side 65 places lower on the league ladder does not point to happier times ahead.
Rodgers now faces two huge Premier League games at home to Aston Villa then, of much greater significance, a visit to Everton in the Merseyside derby.
A victory at Goodison Park would cure a lot of ills, at least temporarily, but defeat – and the undoubtedly toxic reaction from Liverpool fans already in despair – may be a loss too far.

The Football Association has set a dangerous precedent by rescinding the red card given to Arsenal's Gabriel, says Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
Defender Gabriel was sent off for kicking Diego Costa in Chelsea's 2-0 Premier League win on Saturday.
Mourinho said: "Now we know that retaliation is allowed. No problem, you can do it."

Mourinho said he had not spoken about Costa's three-match ban for fear of being suspended.

The father of late Formula 1 star Jules Bianchi has said it is still "too difficult" to watch the sport, as the one-year anniversary of his son's fatal crash at the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix approaches.
In an exclusive interview, Philippe Bianchi told BBC Sport: "Perhaps in a few months, a few years, I can see again a grand prix, I don't know, but for the moment, it is too difficult."
