    Great Britain's men and women won gold in their team pursuit finals at the European Track Championships.

    Laura Trott, Joanna Rowsell Shand, Katie Archibald and Elinor Barker rode to an emphatic victory over Russia in a time of four minutes 17.010 seconds.

    GB's male quartet of Sir Bradley Wiggins, Owain Doull, Andy Tennant and Jon Dibben sealed a memorable double by beating hosts Switzerland.

    Yesterday, BBC Sport released the results of it's annual Price of Football survey. 

    As a result of the findings, former Manchester City and Newcastle United midfielder Joey Barton has suggested clubs should subsidise the cost of tickets for local fans.

    The Burnley player, 33, said it is a "disgrace" there are any empty seats at Premier League grounds.

    The cheapest match-day ticket in the top flight now costs more than £30 on average for the first time.

    Danny Ings has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.

    Ings, 23, suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his first training session with new manager Jurgen Klopp, after making his England debut in Monday's Euro 2016 qualifier against Lithuania.
