'Hernandez had 1% chance of playing'published at 16:58

    Football

Here is a story that will definitely not annoy any Manchester United fans...

Turns out their former striker Javier Hernandez was told by Louis van Gaal he only had a "one per cent chance" of playing up front for United.

This is Hernandez who has scored 19 goals already this season for Bayern Leverkusen, after joining the Bundesliga club in the summer.

"I spoke with Van Gaal and he said that I only had a one per cent chance of playing in my position, so I headed to Bayer. "

Oh how United could do with some of the Mexican's goals now...

He has posted his picture on Instagram with the caption '#alwaysassisting :) #mesutozil #ozil #özil#mesutözil'

It begs the questions; 1. Does he assist even when he is on holiday? 2.Do people really hashtag their own names? 3. Four times you have hashtagged your name Mesut- really?
