    Chelsea training bust-uppublished at 17:12

    Football

We love a good training ground bust-up. They only get reported every so often but when they do they are always a good source of drama. File this firmly under 'reported' but according to the Telegraph, Chelsea's Diego Costa and Oscar had to separated by "stunned" (aren't they always) team-mates in training on Thursday after a poorly-timed tackle by the latter.

A source told Telegraph Sport:, external “Oscar’s challenge was outrageous, it was straight into the knee of Costa and could have done him some real damage. That sparked a brawl between them and the other players had to stop it.”

"Neil Warnock was the manager here and he didn't do very well so I am not really interested in his opinion," said Pardew. "Charlie Austin is of no interest to us."

    That clears that up.

"What a challenge. What an opportunity against top players in the country and in Europe. I've told them not to be concerned about the result, worry about the performance.

"On our day we are a match. We played Fulham earlier in the season who aren't a million miles away from Villa and we gave them a real good game.

"It happens - this fairy tale, this moment of magic the FA Cup springs up and there hasn't really been one yet. There is that glint of light in me that thinks we could be the one this round."
