Flores recalls the great Forest team of the late 70s and early 80s, when they won back to back European Cup finals: “I remember the final in the Bernabeu 1-0 [against Hamburg in 1980]. I remember it perfectly. I saw them play. They were an amazing team.

"I'm still a footballer, first and foremost. I still would have got 100 league goals without the football games. But what it has allowed is for me to have a Premier League status in the lower leagues. That is what Fifa and social media have done. My career stays the same but it has given me a bigger profile outside of football."

A few years ago, Mario Suarez played for Spain alongside the likes of Andres Iniesta and Xavi, and a number of clubs have been trying to sign the midfielder this month.
Watford boss Quique Flores understands how important the signing would be: “It will be amazing news. We are convincing these type of players to come here. It means Watford is growing a lot. These type of players know what is happening here.
"Mario is experienced. I trained with him at Athletico Madrid. It’s good - we need to cover that area. He play good football, good passes he can separate lines he’s very under control in his position, closing spaces, he’s in very good condition.”

There has been lots of talk about the state of Manchester United’s academy in wake of a 5-1 Youth Cup hammering by Chelsea on Friday. And the club's under-18s suffered an 11th successive league defeat yesterday against Manchester City.
An overhaul of United’s entire academy structure is planned once its category one status is confirmed over the next few weeks.
And one interesting name being linked to the vacant job of United’s head of academy is Oxford manager Michael Appleton. The 40-year-old is a lifelong United fan, who came through their youth system and made two senior appearances under Sir Alex Ferguson, before spending time at Preston and West Brom.

New Mills, who play in the eighth-tier Northern Premier League Division One North, had lost all of their league and cup games this season.
But on Tuesday night the Derbyshire club drew 2-2 with Witton Albion to earn their first point of the campaign.
"I just hope it can be a springboard for the rest of the season," said manager Garry Brown.
