Jim White, www.SCFC2.co.uk: "Whilst Huw Jenkins might surprise us all in the last couple of hours of the transfer window, I think it’s more likely to see players leave the Liberty Stadium than new ones coming in.

"This will frustrate many Swans who feel the new American owners aren’t putting their money where they said they would.

"After two league defeats, fans wanted to see an experienced defender come in as well as a ‘magic’ midfielder or winger come in but I think they will be disappointed.

"Enner Valencia from West Ham was mooted but I don’t think that will happen for a few different reasons. We have to hope we have enough in the squad already to get us through to January."

Jimmy 'JDawg' Dawson: Merseyside clubs just love us, 35 for Carroll, 30 for Sissoko, I'll take that thank you very much.

Adam Stubbings:This Deadline Day has been way more interesting and exciting than the last half dozen, not sure what people want.

IAmJasonBull: Spurs need depth in the squad, for that reason Sissoko could work for us, but at 30 million!?!?

Karl ToOnZ: Spurs don't need Sissoko. Especially at that price! Everton wouldn't be wise to spend that kind of cash. Rather get Wilshere!

A lot of people have been saying this. Was Moussa Sissoko really that good during the Euros? He ran up and down a lot.

He scored once last season for Newastle. Where would he play for Everton or Spurs? On the right? Left? Through the middle?

Is he considerably better than their current options?

Looks like Hull boss Mike Phelan is raiding his old club to bolster his ranks at the KCOM Stadium.

After making former Manchester United striker Will Keane one of his three signings yesterday, midfielder James Weir is set to be his first today.

And it looks like the 21-year-old will follow Keane’s lead in leaving Old Trafford on a permanent basis.

It may come down to where the player prefers, Goodison Park or White Hart Lane. This is not finished with yet.
