Gordon Elliott finishes as top trainer - both he and Willie Mullins had six winners apiece but Elliott had three second places compared to Mullins's two.

Ruby Walsh's four winners on Thursday also saw him named leading jockey again.

That's it for Cheltenham 2017. You can follow all of the reaction on the BBC Sport website.

Sometimes you have outstanding ones but I think it's been a good Festival. I think this is a bit of a transition period because we didn't have our champions back. Buveur D'Air from the Champion Hurdle is likely to go on and Sizing John is definitely a horse to come back - he's a relatively young horse at seven.

After four days and 27 races, it all comes down to this, the race named after trainer Nicky Henderson’s father, and the last chance for punters to claw back some money.

Henderson has won the race twice and finished second four times over the past decade and his hopes are with Theinval , ridden by Jeremiah McGrath.

Paul Nicholls has a good chance with Le Prezien while Rock The World  for Gold Cup winners Jessica Harrington and Robbie Power, is not without a chance.

So your horse has just gone and won at the Cheltenham Festival but Champagne Classic's owner Michael O'Leary's reaction was a bit bemused after the horse's win in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle for trainer Gordon Elliott.

"I think that was miraculous as he's probably the worst horse we own," said the airline boss.

"It will mean more to Gordon as this is a race he's always wanted to win because he's very close to Martin.

"When you buy in numbers there some are duds and he's one of them! The jockey gave him a great ride. We should be very grateful and very humble."
