  4. Taking a short breakpublished at 18:22 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

There's a short lull before Libya v Equatorial Guinea gets under way in Group J - that game is at 1900 GMT - so we're going to pause the live text here for a few minutes.

In the meantime, you can read about Aldershot Town's striker Mo Bettamer, who is hoping to make his debut tonight for Libya, the country of his father.

  5. FULL-TIMEpublished at 18:10 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

    Guinea 1-0 Chad

This was all down to the goal scored by Mady Camara - one of the most exciting talents breaking through in Europe. Guinea looking strong at the top of Group A now with 7 points.

  6. FULL-TIMEpublished at 18:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

    Mauritania 1-1 Burundi

They had fans in at the Stade Cheikha Ould Boydie, and for a long time they were cheering everything - until Sadio Berahino nicked a point for Burundi with 10 minutes left.

  7. FULL-TIMEpublished at 18:04 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

    Senegal 2-0 Guinea Bissau

It's Sadio Mane's day - scoring one and setting up another. Guinea-Bissau never really in this one. Senegal comfortably top of Group I.

  8. FULL-TIMEpublished at 18:02 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

    Kenya 1-1 Comoros

Not the comeback Jacob Mulee would have wanted, but at least Kenya came back against the islanders and remain in contention in the group.

  9. goal

GOALpublished at 17:45 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

    Mauritania 1-1 Burundi

The 5,000-strong crowd are quiet - and it's Burundi's most famous player, Saido Berahino, who does it.

The captain - once of West Brom and Stoke, now at Charleroi in Belgium - equalises with 10 minutes to go.

  10. goal

GOALpublished at 17:42 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

    Senegal 2-0 Guinea-Bissau

It's another for Senegal, and this time Sadio Mane is the creator. He takes advantage of some pretty poor Guinea-Bissau defending and sets up Opa Nguette with a crisp pass.

Having netted a penalty in the first half, he's put this game beyond the reach of Senegal's next door neighbour.

  12. goal

GOALpublished at 17:35 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

    Kenya 1-1 Comoros

Well, that's going to put a bit of life in the Ghost! Masud Juma levels it for the Harambee Stars on 67 minutes.

  13. Ghost is spookedpublished at 17:32 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

It's an unhappy return to running the national team so far for Kenya boss Jacob "Ghost" Mulee, seeing the Harambee Stars struggling against 10-man Comoros.

He was only appointed - on a three-year deal - on 21 October.

  14. Where we standpublished at 17:22 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

If they finish this way, the matches so far won't necessarily make that much difference in the respective groups - more cementing the current leads already held.

Guinea are top of Group A anyway, and three points against Chad, if they hold on, will put them further ahead of Mali.

It's the same story - albeit a massive continued shock - if Comoros hold on in Kenya in Group G, and likewise Senegal against Guinea-Bissau in Group I.

But in Group E, if Mauritania - cheered on by their fans - finish winners against Burundi, they will go top, at least until Morocco play against Central Africa Republic.

  15. Back under waypublished at 17:13 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

All four Afcon qualifiers are back under way. Curiously, for those of a picky disposition, those in Mauritania and Kenya are three minutes ahead of those in Guinea and Senegal.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 17:01 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

    Guinea 1-0 Chad

    Kenya 0-1 Comoros

    Mauritania 1-0 Burundi

    Senegal 1-0 Guinea-Bissau

  18. goal

GOALpublished at 17:01 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

    Guinea 1-0 Chad

Midfielder Mady Camara - who plays his club football at Olympiacos, and is being linked with a host of top clubs in Europe - is the man who puts Guinea ahead just before half time in Group A.

  19. goal

GOALpublished at 16:52 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

    Senegal 1-0 Guinea-Bissau

    Say Senegal, think Sadio Mane.

And that's who it is, putting the Lions of Teranga a goal up just before half time in Dakar.

Senegal currently have a 100% record in Group I - and this looks like having every chance of making it three from three.

  20. Fans in the standspublished at 16:44 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2020

There's something different at the Mauritania-Burundi game - fans.

There are around 5,000 at the Stade Cheikha Ould Boydie, frequently up on their feet - this is a ground where the stands are RIGHT next to the pitch.

New rules from the Confederation of African Football said that fans would be banned from games at this round of matches, but countries could apply for special dispensation to let them in.

And it's making a difference for Mauritania, who look seriously up for this.
