  9. Gemili 'absolutely gutted'published at 15:33 British Summer Time 20 August 2017

Adam Gemili on BBC One: "It didn't feel like I false-started and it's the first time that's happened to me in my career. I feel I'm in great shape and wanted the chance to prove it. I feel I've let so many people down - it's absolutely gutting.

"This is a Grand Prix but it feels like the World Champs to me because it was a redemption race and a chance to show that I can run fast."

A wildly unpopular call to disqualify Adam Gemili. The crowd jeered as a roller-coaster season took another dip.

But that is CJ Ujah's fourth Diamond League win of the year. He might have traded them all for a spot in the world final last week.

    Colin Jackson
Two-time world 110m hurdles champion on BBC TV

Ujah has demonstrated that he's still the number one in our country. He's been so consistent this season, he drives well, is very efficient, has a good technique and when you marry that with a good head you have a fantastic athlete.

He's improved every season and I just want to see him gtetting under 10 seconds on a consistent basis.

Such a shame for everybody who wanted to see Gemili race and there are a few jeers from the crowd. He ran so well in the relay to help GB win gold at the worlds and really wanted to show that he is the best of the Brits after missing out on the individual events.
