Emile Cairess came here with high hopes and he has just got to hold it together now in the closing kilometres.

Mo Farah is quite a long way behind him and slowing all the time but the crowd is still roaring for him, and thanking him for all he has given us over the years.

Kelvin Kiptum is out ahead and still moving very quickly.

She just defies convention. She hasn't run that in a "normal" way and that's why it is the greatest marathon win that I have seen because of the way she did it.

Two World Championship golds and two Olympic golds on the track, but that is the best win of her life.

"I decided last year I wanted a new challenge, and so I said OK, I'll do a marathon.

"I don't really want to move from track but I want to see what I can do."

Those were Sifan Hassan's words beforehand. She is a track runner.

To outkick them is remarkable, and look at her reaction - she cannot believe it.

We weren't even looking at the speeds because we were so caught up in the race.
