LoveBerg10kamp: Really happy for Morgan Lake. I’d lost count of the number of times she’s come away from championships disappointed, feeling she hasn’t done herself justice. Not this year though, whatever happens from here, she’s done herself extremely proud
Morgan Lake has passed at her final jump at 1.99m to give herself a shot at 2.01.
Even had she cleared 1.99m she would still have been fourth so it makes some sense.

buncie44: Magical Moraa brilliant tactical race by her
LiamCarter1991: Well done Keely Hodgkinson on a brilliant silver medal in the women’s 800m! Three silvers in just over a year. Next step is to just push that little further for that inevitable gold. Roll on Paris 2024!
Women's 800m final
Keely Hodgkinson speaking to BBC Sport after winning silver in the women's 800m: "To be consistently at the top with the best of world is all I want with my career. Another podium. Another medal. So that's definitely a positive.
"I did think I was going to come through on the inside and then the line just came quicker than I thought it would. I gave it my all like I always do. I don't really think I put a foot wrong.
"I was really looking forward to today. I was really up for it. I really did believe I was going to win. You've got to believe, that's half the battle. Who knows what the order will be next year. One of these days I will get the top spot. Today it's just not meant to be.
"I think Olympic year, everyone brings even more of their A-game than they usually do. There's no stone left unturned this year. We'll just aim for gold again and see what happens."
Women's high jump final
MORGAN LAKE!
She's over at 1.97m - again at the last attempt - to give herself a shot at the medals.
The bar wobbled but stays up there as Lake's arms go into the air.
It's now a four-way fight and Morgan Lake is one of them.

Fair play, Jakob Ingebrigtsen.
It will have taken a lot for the Norwegian to get over his 1500m disappointment, when Britain's Josh Kerr got the better of him on the home straight.
This time, it's Ingebrigtsen who times his final push to perfection to retain his 5,000m crown. He's pretty pleased with that, and the crowd are pleased for him, rising to their feet as he takes a lap of honour. He's back!
