Quigg finishes dancing around. His team begins to move. He's about to step from the tranquility of his quarters to an absolute bearpit of a Manchester Arena. The way they're partying now, it will be like boxing in a nightclub.

"I don't think this fight will go past four rounds. I think Carl Frampton's better punch picking will find a hole in Scott Quigg's defences."

Hang on, a delay. Scott Quigg is due to walk to the ring first, all part of an agreement that Carl Frampton is the 'bigger draw'. At the moment, though, Quigg is not appearing.

"I don't think it matters that Frampton is the slight favourite. I don't think there's a lot in this contest. If Frampton is allowed to throw his combinations and move his feet, he'll look great. If Quigg can get Frampton to hold his feet, then he'll become the favourite. Frampton is the more polished boxer, but Quigg is dedicated, he's fit and he carries more power. But it's difficult to land shots against a moving opponent, and Frampton knows that."

That ringwalk might be a smidge earlier than 22:45. I'm giving you fair warning to grab a brew/beer/snacks. Not long now.

Just joining us? We're expecting the ringwalk at about 22:45. Pictures of Quigg warming-up are shown to boos in the Arena. Remember how I said they were singing Sweet Caroline? It's trending on Twitter now. Now it's Is This Way To Amarillo? We're having a belting knees-up here. A good do, Dave.

Natasha Jones: Am gonna say Quigg round six. I think he wants it so much more.

I'll be honest, I think James Nesbitt has had a few light ales.

Actor James Nesbitt is at the fight tonight, and spoke to BBC Radio 5 live: "I read the terms and conditions for the crowd and it said no football shirts. But it's been an incredible year for Northern Ireland, with Rory McIlroy, Michael O'Neill and Carl Frampton bringing the country together, so I decided to wear the retro Northern Ireland shirt tonight.

"Carl Frampton wins on points. He's a better boxer. Quigg looks psychopathic. But any fighter who says he doesn't like training must be a good boxer. Carl doesn't like training."

That would be an excellent table to be at, wouldn't it? At a Rusholme curry house, you wouldn't feel guilty about ordering an extra naan bread if one of Rooney or McIlroy was picking up the tab.

"I don't think Scott Quigg should have made such a big thing of the dressing room issue. I've warmed up in toilets and hallways, and it has nothing to do with anything. I think Quigg has shown a bit of a weakness there."

"I think Scott Quigg responded the way he shouldn't have done in that dressing room row, because it gave a little sign of a weakness, and the McGuigan camp jumped on that. When Quigg looks back, he will regret that."

BBC Radio 5 live boxing commentator

"That dressing room, dressing room 39, which has been occupied by Carl Froch, Ricky Hatton and David Haye, tonight is occupied by the British Boxing Board of Control. Neither Carl Frampton not Scott Quigg have got the dressing room that's known as the star dressing room, but both of them have got what they want."

  18. Postpublished at 22:26

Have you seen the rumpus this week over the biggest dressing room in the Manchester Arena? Scott Quigg thought he should have it because he's the 'home' fighter. Carl Frampton said it was his because he's the 'bigger draw'.

    We have dressing room news...

Former world super-bantamweight and featherweight champion Prince Naseem Hamed on BBC Radio 5 live: "My heart lies with Mr Frampton. I feel he's a winner. He has all the strength and skills to win this fight. He's the stronger and better fighter. Carl Frampton has everything he needs to expose Quigg. I'm not expecting a points win. I'm expecting a stoppage. Maybe the eight round, maybe the 10th. I don't see Scott Quigg winning."

There's an outstanding rendition of Sweet Caroline being belted out in Manchester. This card has been under way since this afternoon, so some in there will be well-oiled.
