That was a close round and its hard to score but I would give it to Kid Galahad. He is throwing the sneaky little punches and they are landing.

  2. Round sevenpublished at 23:27 British Summer Time 15 June 2019

    Warrington v Galahad

Kid Galahad walks back to his corner confidently.

"We have got to get him into deep waters," says Josh Warrington's trainer and father.

    "Let's get on his case."

There's an upset brewing here folks. What do our pundits think?

Jab, jab from Kid Galahad. He steps in to grapple but Warrington steps back and lands a right hand on the jaw. That was smarter from Warrington.

We know Warrington has a huge engine. It's being negated a bit here but may come into play as things go on.

A minute of the seventh remains, few punches landed, just a lot of grappling from Galahad again. He ducks a nice shot there though after landing a couple of light tags himself.

    A minute left...

Kid Galahad is starting to lose his shape a bit now and he is starting to look a bit ragged. Josh Warrington is relentless with his pace and it has been a physical fight so far.

Josh Warrington is used to having a scrap and he wants to bang you on the head and round the hips. When you're a classical fighter like Kid Galahad, it starts to tire you out. I give that round to Warrington.

Kid Galahad's trainer Dominic Ingle: "Don't let him put you in any corner. Don't be hard. Just keep picking him.

"Be nice and smart and sharp with him. Jab, roll out, jab."

This is turning into a really good contest. It's a domestic dust-up for the IBF world featherweight title.

  9. Round sixpublished at 23:22 British Summer Time 15 June 2019

    Warrington v Galahad

Josh Warrintgon was a 1-3 favourite with most bookmakers for this but those odds will be bigger now you'd thing.

Once again a jab from Galahad is followed by him stepping forward to tie things up. Punch and spoil.

The referee asks them not to hold near the corner. A time out is called and Galahad is warned for too much cuddling.

They clinch again and Warrington stings a right hand to the body.

That round was so close. Josh Warrington had that great combination but before and after that Kid Galahad was very effective with his little shots to the body and the head. It's difficult to give that round to one fighter.

  11. Round fivepublished at 23:18 British Summer Time 15 June 2019

    Warrington v Galahad

A minute of the fifth left.

Kid Galahad, largely because of his fine balance and footwork, is not letting Warrington set any kind of pace. A jab to keep distance from Galahad... not much is landing. Warrington tries to crouch and walk forward - Mike Tyson style - but again Galahad is having none of it.

Run DMC blasts around the arena and Warrington returns to his stool to have a swab stuck up his nose.

  12. Round fivepublished at 23:16 British Summer Time 15 June 2019

    Warrington v Galahad

Right then, we've settled in and this is close. Remember, Josh Warrington has Las Vegas and New York on his mind with a win here.

As Warrington looks to step in early in the fifth Galahad goes backwards and ties him up.

But suddenly an explosion from Warrington as he throws a bunch of punches, some of which land to draw huge roars. That's what he needs more of....

This is a real step up for Kid Galahad but his supporters believe he can shift up in class and fight at a level he has yet had the chance to show in his 10-year professional career.

    Jamie Moore
Boxing trainer on BBC Radio 5 live

There are just small pockets of action which are sending it one way or the other.

Kid Galahad finished that round stronger and he landed some straight shots down the middle, making Josh Warrington's nose bleed.

  16. Round fourpublished at 23:14 British Summer Time 15 June 2019

    Warrington v Galahad

Kid Galahad is happy to land a shot and then tie Warrington up. Its' party elegant part spoiler.

A nice short left hand gets through from Warrington but again the judges are looking at scraps in terms of the work that is landing from either man.

  17. Round fourpublished at 23:13 British Summer Time 15 June 2019

    Warrington v Galahad

Leeds Arena falls relatively quiet. They know their man is in a fight....

A good jab from Warrington pushes Galahad's face to the side. Warrington trying to get in close but Galahad being evasive. Remember, the Ingle gym from which Galahad hails is renowned for teaching fighters to be beautifully balanced.

A minute of the fourth to go. They grapple, Warrington tries to rough his man up but he's not being allowed to have much his own way....

    A minute to go.

    Round three

    Andy Lee
Former middleweight world champion on BBC Radio 5 live

I scored that round for Warrington due to the success he had in the early exchanges. He has got good instincts and he attacks when his opponent is on the back foot. The tactics are starting to come into play now.

  19. Round threepublished at 23:10 British Summer Time 15 June 2019

    Warrington v Galahad

Kid Galahad is being told to stay in southpaw by his corner.

Josh Warrington is finding it hard to get in close to him late in this round and if there was any good work done to please the judges in that three minutes it came from the home fighter early on.

    Intense stuff.

  20. Round threepublished at 23:09 British Summer Time 15 June 2019

    Warrington v Galahad

Kid Galahad makes Josh Warrington miss early in this third round but then he gets peppered with a couple of shots - two fast jabs with the left hand.

Better from Josh Warrington. Around 90 seconds of the third remain. Warrington hounding his man to the ropes. The Leeds fighter stands square on, he doesn't care about being a big target and just wants to get in your face...
