    Caroline Dubois. Remember the name.

The 21-year-old lightweight will make/made her long awaited professional debut tonight and, according to Boxxer promoter Ben Shalom, is destined to become "the next face of women's boxing".

Inspired to take up the sport by big brother Daniel - the WBA number-one ranked heavyweight in the world - she is one of the most exciting young talents in British boxing.

Signing Dubois was quite the statement for Boxxer, who last year agreed an exclusive deal - alongside Top Rank in US - to broadcast fights on Sky Sports.

"There was huge competition to sign her. There's a presence about her, there's something special," Shalom says.

It's a crackling atmosphere at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena, there is not a spare seat in the house.

We are very lucky to have ringside seats and there is a real anticipation for the arrival of Caroline Dubois, who is set to make her professional debut imminently.

Chris Eubank Jr v Liam Williams

Good evening from the Welsh capital and the Motorpoint Arena ahead of what should be an exciting night of boxing.

There is genuine bad blood between Chris Eubank Jr, the number one middleweight in the UK and Liam Williams, the number two middleweight in the UK who will be enjoying home advantage today.

This is a big night for Welsh boxing, with the Motorpoint Arena at close to capacity for the first time since Joe Calzaghe defended his super middleweight title against Mario Veit in 2001 at the then Cardiff International Arena.

Not only is it a belting main event with some intriguing undercard fights as well, but this is also the first boxing show the British Boxing Board have sanctioned in 2022 after a hiatus for Covid.

So the stage is well and truly set...

As it's the first boxing live page of the year, I'm sure you'll indulge me.
