The fifth was another terrific round. Perhaps even better than the third. Both men showing their desire and determination to win. The cleaner and sharper work was probably from Buatsi but Azeez also landed his own thudding punches.

  3. Round sixpublished at 22:46 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February

    Buatsi v Azeez

Buatsi starts to move through the gears, he's looking the more comfortable now.

He dips his head down and swings it away from Azeez, drawing the attack and then coming back with the counter.

"The body is there," trainer Buddy McGirt shouts from Azeez's corner.

We are midway through this 12-round contest and Buatsi is starting to put his stamp on it.

  4. Round fivepublished at 22:42 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February

    Buatsi v Azeez

Lovely combination from Buatsi as he throws a right to the body and follows with a left to the head.

Azeez eats those and steps forward to launch an attack of his own.

Buatsi slams his gloves on his thighs and walks forward with intent. He's having more success in this round as he forces his left hand through the guard of Azeez and then just misses with an uppercut.

Azeez gets a little sloppy in the final seconds and is caught with a right hook.

It's one of those fights. Azeez has a great spell and Buatsi comes back with his own. I'm really liking the body shots from Buatsi.

  7. Round fourpublished at 22:39 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February

    Buatsi v Azeez

Buatsi digs a left hand into the body and Azeez responds with a hook to the face.

There's a complaint from Buatsi that he was caught with a shot to the back of the head but referee Bob Williams is happy for it to continue.

Some lovely footwork from Azeez as he lands a right hook and steps away.

Then it's back to what we saw at the end of round three with both exchanging in close quarters.

This is bubbling up nicely, although I'm finding it hard to put a firm pick on how each of these rounds will be scored. It's tight.

This fight has come alive. What a round. The crowd - with the support split between both men - loved that.

South London bragging rights are at stake.

I have to say I'm a big fan of the Dan Azeez style, both clothing and boxing. He's got the look of former undisputed champion Marvin Hagler down to a tee with the short shorts and long socks.

    Anyway, back to the fighting.

This is all playing out dead centre of the ring. The crowd levels raise as Azeez comes over the top again.

Oh! It really comes to life in the final 20 seconds as they both start to unload to body and head.

    More of that please!

Buatsi steps forward and Azeez fires a lovely right hand over the top.

Buatsi has a four and a half inch reach advantage and is trying to use that to keep the range with his jab.

Azeez finds a way to step in and have success, landing a right down the middle, but Buatsi comes back with a couple of shots to the body.

The first three minutes pass by without too much of note, that's often the case.

These two are former training partners so they know each other inside out.

It's about settling in and seeing how it pans out.

A long stare down between them as the bell goes at the end of the round.

Tonight is sure to be a cracker between the two former sparring partners.

Both have beaten all who have stood in front of them, but that won't be the case once the final bell goes later.

    And here comes Joshua Buatsi.

He walks out calmly to 'Come too Far' by Fridayy, which moves into 'Until the end of time' by Tupac.

Nothing flashy about his trip down the ramp. He looks like he means business.

Noel Gallagher has taken his seat on the second row. The fella sitting behind him seems a tad starstruck. Hope he doesn't pester Mr Gallagher too much, otherwise the former Oasis man will be looking back in anger. I'm sorry.

The last couple of cards here at OVO Arena haven't been too greatly attended but Londoners (and Mancunian Gallagher) are out in full force to support either Joshua Buatsi or Dan Azeez. Boxxer say around 8,000 tickets have been sold.
