  3. Ballinderry to face Crossmolina in emotional Croke finalpublished at 13:08 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

The All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Final between Derry club Ballinderry and Mayo outfit Crossmolina at Croke Park is certain to be an emotional occasion.

The game was scheduled to take place two weeks ago but was postponed following the tragic death of Róisín Cryan, the fiancee of Crossmolina and Mayo player Conor Loftus.

Having endured tragedies of their own down the years, including the sudden death of 23-year-old player Aaron Devlin from meningitis in 2015, Ballinderry reached out to the Mayo club after the devastating news.

Both agreed that getting the game played was "secondary" as Crossmolina processed their grief.

But following consultations with the Cryan and Loftus families, Crossmolina now feel ready to play although emotions are certain to be raw at Croke Park.

  7. Down, Antrim and Ballinderry in actionpublished at 12:48 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

Allianz Football League and All-Ireland Intermediate Final

After a frantic Saturday opening to the Allianz Football League, today's action is a little less box office from an Ulster point of view with the sidebar Ballinderry's All-Ireland Intermediate Club Final against Crossmolina at Croke Park.

Down get their Division Two campaign under way with a difficult looking away fixture against a Roscommon team that are being tipped to make a quick return to Division One. Throw-in is 14:00 GMT at Dr Hyde Park.

In Division Three, Antrim take on Clare at Corrigan Park (13:00) in what already looks a big game for a Saffrons side, whose home form is going to be vital to their league prospects.

After Naomh Padraig Muff's agonising 0-9 to 0-8 All-Ireland Junior Club Final defeat by An Cheathru Rua on Galway yesterday, Ballinderry are at headquarters today as they take on Mayo club Crossmolina in the intermediate decider (13:30).
