  5. 'The greatest day of my life' - O'Donnellpublished at 18:04 British Summer Time 21 July

    FT: Clare 3-29 Cork 1-34

We have some reaction from the victorious Clare camp with Mark Rodgers and Shane O'Donnell speaking to BBC Sport NI's Mark Sidebottom:

Mark Rodgers: "That was a testament to our panel, the lads that game on were outstanding. When the game went to extra-time, we never worried for a second."

Shane O'Donnell: There is an outpouring of emotion, when you have to sit and watch the last 15 minutes from the bench, your heart is in your mouth, but the young lads delivered and to get this opportunity again it is sensational. I didn't think I would get here again.

"Today will be the greatest day of my life categorically. I don't think we appreciated it 11 years ago, so it has been the pride of my life being part of this team, it is hard to put into words."

  6. 'One of the great All-Ireland Finals'published at 17:59 British Summer Time 21 July

    FT: Clare 3-29 Cork 1-34

If that wasn't the best All-Ireland final ever, well it was certainly comes into most people's top one. Clare and Cork were level on 16 occasions throughout that game and I doubt there would have been many complaints if they were to replay it, but perhaps that Tony Kelly magic made all the difference who is now up the steps of the Hogan Stand to receive the Liam MacCarthy Cup.

  7. 'You feel for Horgan'published at 17:59 British Summer Time 21 July

    FT: Clare 3-29 Cork 1-34

    Paul Murphy

For Horgan alone, you feel for him. At the final whistle, I was delighted for Clare but devastated for Cork, genuinely.

    FT: Clare 3-29 Cork 1-34

    Neil McManus
Former Antrim star on BBC Sport NI

If there was ever a game to be shown on network by the BBC it was that. It was such a good representation of hurling, it had everything. Hurling's best advertisement.

Devastated for the Cork lads, but the day belongs to Clare.

  9. 'Epic final'published at 17:56 British Summer Time 21 July

    FT: Clare 3-29 Cork 1-34

    Jamesie O'Connor
    Two-time All-Ireland winner with Clare on co-commentary

What an epic final, that was inches wide from O'Flynn, but this is the fine margins. Cork lost nothing in defeat, but I am delighted for Clare and Kelly, what a hero.

  10. The Banner roars around Croke Parkpublished at 17:55 British Summer Time 21 July

    FT: Clare 3-29 Cork 1-34

What a sensational All-Ireland final. Lisdoonvarna rings around Croke Park as Clare celebrate wildly. Cork are devastated and no wonder as they couldn't have some any closer. Robbie O'Flynn with his head in his hands as he plucked the ball from the sky and had a chance to level but under pressure couldn't get his shot on target.

    Jamesie O'Connor

It was a great save, but in the circumstances Robbie O'Flynn should have gone over the bar with it. He has to go low as Quilligan would expect to save it as it is a good height.

    Clare 3-26 Cork 1-32

Robbie O'Flynn in bearing down on goal but Clare keeper Eibhear Quilligan makes the save to rescue the Bannermen, but perhaps the Cork man could have taken it closer to goal.
