We are back underway and as we ponder what, if anything, can Dublin do to not just subdue the Cork attack, but start asking questions of the own on a consistent basis.

It's going to take a massive effort as Cork have been utterly ruthless and will surely be looking to put an end to the argument early on.

Dublin need goals to get back into it, I don't think they're going to score consecutive points.

If they can get back to within six, there's only two pucks of a ball in it.

    Cork 4-13 Dublin 1-12

Sean Currie taps over a free to close the half but it's Cork heading into the dressing room much happier. Their early goal blitz was a marker, but Dublin weathered that particular storm, yet it's Brian Hayes' second goal of the half, three minutes before the break, just has the feel of a killer for the underdogs.

Dublin need to find a way to contain the Cork full-forward line, but that's easier said than done as the front three of Hayes, Alan Connolly and Patrick Horgan have hit 4-7 between them.
