  12. 'Wounded Derry face Armagh in round two headliner'published at 19:41 British Summer Time 1 June

Derry v Armagh, Sunday 2 June, 16:00 BST

The rising sense of jeopardy in this year's All-Ireland series will come under sharp focus at Celtic Park on Sunday as a wounded Derry attempt to steer their season away from another road bump against Armagh.

In the 12 months since they met in last year's Ulster final, the narrative has been as much about what hasn't happened for these counties as opposed to what has.

For despite their best efforts, Derry were unable to land the All-Ireland title last year while Armagh's long quest for silverware rumbles on after a couple of defeats by Donegal - in the Division Two final and, more painfully, in last month's Ulster final.

    HT: Cavan 0-7 Dublin 2-9

Goals from Cormac Costello and Paddy Small help them into a healthy lead at the end of a first half in which they systematically got on top.

A lot of work for Cavan to do at the break of they are to make a fist of the second half.

  14. goal

Goal - Paddy Small (Dublin)published at 19:33 British Summer Time 1 June

    Cavan 0-7 Dublin 2-8

Paddy Small has been a great outlet for Dublin and is rewarded with a score, and after Oisin Brady responds with his fifth of the half, Small finds the net. It was the most typical of Dublin goals as the ball is worked through the hands with Con O'Callaghan squaring for Small to palm home from a couple of yards out.

  15. Postpublished at 19:28 British Summer Time 1 June

    Cavan 0-6 Dublin 1-7

Oisin Brady kicks a free but Dublin seem to be going through the gears now and Sean Bugler thumps over. They have kicked seven wides too, so plenty of wasted opportunities for both.

  19. Postpublished at 19:19 British Summer Time 1 June

    Cavan 0-4 Dublin 0-4

Cormac Costello nudges Dublin in front once again, this time from a free, but again Cavan reply with Oisin Brady converting a free of his own. Just approaching the 20-minute mark and Cavan will be relatively happy despite the missed opportunities to get ahead.

  20. Wides stacking uppublished at 19:15 British Summer Time 1 June

    Cavan 0-3 Dublin 0-3

Cavan have created the opportunities but have just kicked a fifth wide. That's not a great stat after 15 minutes when bidding for an upset, but then Dublin have struggled with their shooting too.
