    Hello, folks. Formula 1 is back (finally) with two triple-headers on the cards, including three sprint events, the first of which takes place at the United States Grand Prix.

    First practice - the only one drivers will get this weekend - starts at 18:30 BST.

    Sprint qualifying, which sets the grid for tomorrow's sprint race, gets under way at 22:30 BST.

    After a short, autumnal slumber, Formula 1 returns to finish what is shaping up to be an intriguing battle in both the drivers' and constructors' championships.

    With just six races remaining until we wave goodbye to the 2024 season, will the main trophies be handed out to Max Verstappen or Lando Norris? McLaren or Red Bull? A Papaya car or a navy blue one?

    And where better to start this final big push then at one of the drivers' favourite circuits; the Circuit of the Americas in good ol' Austin, Texas.
