    Laois v Down (15:00 BST)

Down will be aiming to go one step further and lift this year’s Tailteann Cup and guarantee themselves a place in next year’s Sam Maguire competition. But standing in their way are Laois, who Down saw off in last year’s semi-final on a whopping 8-16 to 2-12 scoreline.

The Mournemen have made two late changes to their programme side with Paddy McCarthy taking over from Danny Magill at right half-forward and Newry City footballer John McGovern in for Conor McCrickard at left full-forward.

Laois made one alteration to their published team with Ben Dempsey replacing Eoin Buggie at left half-back.

Liam Kerr bagged himself 3-2 in last year's semi-final and he’ll be looking for a repeat showing after being named in the starting attack where there is also a return to the starting line-up for Kilcoo’s Ryan Johnston.

Laois, now under the guidance of former Armagh player Justin McNulty, field a team almost unrecognisable from last year’s drubbing. From that starting XV, only five remain.

With a new-look defence, they’ll be hoping to curtail Down’s goal scoring threat while at the other end of the field the likes of Evan O’Carroll and Mark Barry would grace any team in the country.

Down: John O'Hare; Peter Fegan, Ryan McEvoy, Pierce Laverty; Miceal Rooney, Daniel Guinness, Shealan Johnston; Jonny Flynn, Odhran Murdock; Paddy McCarthy, James Guinness, Ryan Johnston; Liam Kerr, Pat Havern, John McGovern.

Laois: Killian Roche; James Kelly, Simon Fingleton, Mark Timmons; Seamus Lacey, Brian Byrne, Ben Dempsey; Damon Larkin, Conor Heffernan; Niall Dunne, Evan O’Carroll, Kevin Swayne; Mark Barry, Eoin Lowry, Paul Kingston.

  2. Down and Armagh in Croke showdownspublished at 14:34 British Summer Time 13 July

It's a massive day for two Ulster counties and we'll take you through the action as they target success at Croke Park.

Down are first up in the Tailteann Cup final with the Mournemen taking on Laois at 15:00 BST.

Conor Laverty's team will be aiming to go one better than last year when they lost out to Meath in the deicder.

There's text commentary from Down's bid for glory and then you can watch the opening All-Ireland SFC semi-final with Armagh going up against Kerry at 17:30.

It's the first time the Orchard outfit has reached the last-four stage since 2005, two years after their last appearance in the final.

Armagh bounced back after their latest shootout defeat in the Ulster final to top their All-Ireland group and then see off Roscommon in the quarter-finals.

Kerry failed to shine in beating Derry to secure a semi-final berth but the 38-time champions will start as favourites to meet the winners of tomorow's game between Donegal and Galway in the 28 July final.
