    FT: Armagh 1-21 Kerry 0-32

Well, that was another eventful day in Croke Park where Armagh's reign as All-Ireland champions came to an abrupt end.

Kerry entered as underdogs and will now be many people's favourites to go all the way after producing a stunning performance in the second half with Seanie O'Shea and David Clifford on song. They now have a meeting with Tyrone to look forward to.

You can ready the report here.

It seems like a long time ago, but earlier in the day, Meath also caused a stir with a one-point win over to book their place in the last four and there they will meet Donegal.

It took a while for the curtain-raiser to heat up, but it was a thriller and you can read Matt Gault's report here.

Next weekend we have the semi-finals of the hurling championship with Munster champions Cork facing a Dublin team that caused a shock against Limerick. That takes place at Croke Park on Saturday as 17:00 BST, while on Sunday at 16:00 BST, we have the second semi-final between age-old rivals Kilkenny and Tipperary.

Both games are live on the BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website, while we will also have live text commentary, reports and reaction.

We look forward to seeing you then, but for now, have a good evening and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

  3. Semi-final draw to comepublished at 17:57 British Summer Time 29 June

We aren't done for the day yet as we have the semi-final draw coming shortly.

What we know is that Donegal can't play Tyrone and Kerry can't play Meath, so the two Ulster teams will go into one pot.

  4. 'Nobody gave us a hope'published at 17:55 British Summer Time 29 June

    FT: Armagh 1-21 Kerry 0-32

Kerry's Seanie O'Shea finished with 0-12 in a man-of-the-match display. Speaking to RTE he said: "We're over the moon. When we saw the draw, it was one of those weeks where you were struggling to sleep as it was your last thought every night. There was a special energy in the group this week.

"We were written off, nobody giving us a hope even down at home, but we've a tight group and nobody knows what goes on inside our dressing room. I think that showed today. We asked the crowd to get behind us and they really did, which made a difference."

On Kerry's performance: "We just said we'd throw the shackles off, go out and express ourselves. We came in as underdogs with Armagh incredible All-Ireland champions who were flying all year. In that second half, we really turned the screw."

On the squad strength: "People have said we maybe don't have strength-in-depth, but we had Evan Looney come in there for his third or fourth championship game after 15 minutes and took to it like a duck to water. We know the standard of our squad and see it every week, so we can't wait to get another two weeks out of it."

    Armagh 1-21 Kerry 0-32

The All-Ireland champions are out and the Armagh hopes of winning back to back Sam Maguire's is over.

They were dismantled by a rampant Kerry team that were written off by almost everyone and even by many in their own county.

But we should know better by now that the Kingdom take on a new life when they hit Croke Park.

Kerry join Donegal, Tyrone and Meath in the last four.

The draw for that All-Ireland semi-final will be made very shortly.

All we do know for that draw is that Tyrone can't play Donegal and Kerry cannot play Meath.
